Rectangles and ellipses
Section titled “Rectangles and ellipses”Pick the rectangle (⊞) or ellipse (⊕) tool and drag on the canvas. Before drawing — or after selecting an existing shape — tune it in the context bar:
| Option | Applies to | Values |
|---|---|---|
| Fill | Rectangle, ellipse | Any color, with transparency (default #3b82f6) |
| Stroke color | Rectangle, ellipse | Any color, with transparency (default black) |
| Stroke width | Rectangle, ellipse | 0 to 20 px (default 2, 0 = no border) |
| Stroke style | Rectangle, ellipse | Solid, Dashed, Dotted |
| Radius | Rectangle | 0 to 100 px |
The values you set before drawing are reused for the next shapes, so you can draw a series of identical boxes quickly.
Images
Section titled “Images”Click the image icon in the toolbar and pick a file. The image is uploaded, scaled down to fit 800 × 800 px if it’s larger, and placed in the center of the page. Move and resize it like any other shape.
An image placed this way is static: the same picture in every PDF — a logo, a letterhead. For a picture that changes from one document to the next, use an image variable and send a PNG or JPEG data URL at export time. See Variables.
